Born in 2013, Phoebe is a lovable Jack Russell–Yorkshire Terrier cross and the self-appointed boss of the Rhiannon’s Pet Sitting team in Cambridge. She’s fiercely loyal, prefers human companionship, and often sneaks a snuggle with the cats when no one’s watching! While she enjoys her daily walks and the occasional calm group stroll, her pace has slowed a little with age. Phoebe’s favourite place is under the duvet or curled up next to Rhiannon or her mum—she simply loves company and thrives when not left alone. As part of our pet sitting team, Phoebe helps us understand the unique needs of senior dogs and cuddle-loving companions.
Yarrow, born in 2018, is our affectionate and sassy resident cat, known for keeping her son Dinks in check with the occasional bop to the head—earning her the nickname “Bop It.” She loves exploring outdoors in the summer but transforms into a cuddle bug in the winter. She’s often found snuggled in the comfiest spot in the house—usually next to Rhiannon’s mum. Yarrow is a perfect example of a cat who needs a bit of independence and a lot of love, helping us understand how to balance attention and space during our cat sitting visits in Cambridge.
Born in 2019, Dinks may have started life as the runt of his litter, but today he’s a beautiful, if timid, boy with a strong bond to Rhiannon’s dad. Although technically Rhiannon’s cat, Dinks is rarely found far from his favourite chair or cushion by dad’s side. While shy around strangers, he’ll accept a head scratch when the mood (or food) is right. His sensitive nature helps us tailor our approach when caring for nervous or anxious cats across Cambridgeshire, making Dinks an honorary expert in quiet, low-stress cat care.
Tyr, born in 2023, is the youngest member of the team and was affectionately “rescued” from a veterinary hospital shift. Raised in a clinical environment, Tyr is confident, affectionate, and very much used to new sights and sounds—he even drools when he’s content! He’s typically found guarding the stairs or curled up on Rhiannon’s bed. Tyr represents the ideal blend of playful and cuddly, and his veterinary upbringing makes him a great inspiration for supporting kitten care and socialisation during pet sitting services across Cambridge.
